Since 2004, HMC has only managed extended-stay hotels, with a current portfolio of 70+ hotels across more than 24 states. We have experience managing WoodSpring Suites, Candlewood Suites, Extended Stay America, Suburban Studios, My Place, and Everhome Suites.

Our expertise is in hotels, and we stay focused on the unique requirements of hospitality receivership. We do not do receivership work except for hotels.

HMC understands the technical and legal processes that's involved when it comes to receiving a distressed property by the lender. HMC is experienced in handling all necessary procedures with a court ordered appointment.

 Within 24 hours of a court ordered receivership appointment, HMC will implement the following processes after taking over a hotel:

  • Secure all assets including bank accounts

  • Identify and correct all life-safety issues

  • We use our existing processes and Business information systems to provide real time information about the operations of the hotel

  • Follow proper HR procedures

  • Comply with local/state/federal laws

  • Implement accounting controls
